Haven't checked for updates but wouldn't be surprised if it's been forgotten about. Still, I checked for an update on the Sports Tracker app itself and I see they've now got actual maps on the tracking in the phone app. Looks like it can use preloaded maps from Nokia Maps too so saves on bandwidth. Handy as sometimes I like to know where I am and saves having to fire up Nokia or Google Maps to do so.

Still think Sports Tracker is about the best location/GPS app on a mobile.

Re: Nokia Sports Tracker Widget

Widget doesn't work. I never did get it to work with albums, but have to admit I didn't try that much. Anyway the source is here for anyone to modify. After all I just modified the existing Coppermine Plugin.

I haven't checked to see if that plugin has been updated and if maybe lightbox has been integrated into the original. Maybe it has, or maybe there's another plugin that does similar.

Re: Lightbox and Coppermine plugins

Do you still give support for this?

I was wondering if you ever got it to work with whole albums and Lightbox?

One picture opens in lightbox, so you got that correct..

But as you said here above, it doesn't work when you link a whole album..

Re: Exhibit Engine

I don't think the gallery looks cheesy, although this is the default configuration, and it's designed to be very configurable. I run EE myself, although mine looks the same, because I haven't played around with PHP and styles much.

I've played around with Gallery2, and ZenPhoto, after first using EE, because I figured the others might be easier to customize, but after seeing all of the features that were lost after moving, I went back to EE.

It's a little tricker to install, but looks a lot more professional compared to the others. It's also faster in my experience.

Re: Sim free 3G phone + Orange = no 3G

To make matters worse I also discovered PAYG is not really an option as it limits the amount of roaming you can do around the world which I didn't realise. I decided to just go PAYG at the end of my contract and it turns out you can get a SIM only 3G USIM PAYG on Orange if you go to an Orange shop. It's free if you pay for £10 credit. You can get some on ebay also for around £5 but those are actually costing you more as you have to add credit on top.

Anyway, I'd heard you can transfer your contract number to PAYG and sure enough in the book with the sim it even gives you a phone number and details of information required to do exactly that. So I call the number and I'm told I have to go through retentions at Orange to downgrade to PAYG where they'll send a SIM. Well for a start I don't want to go anywhere near retentions and have to argue over my contract and I also don't want to get yet another SIM seeing as I've just got a PAYG SIM anyway (and it was a source from Orange who said to buy a PAYG SIM from a shop anyway)!

Re: Moby and copy protection

Yeah, unfortunately though the shift key solution only prevents the software on the CD loading on your PC. It's daft though that it's so easy to stop.

The annoyance I find is there is an extra layer of copy protection on these CDs that put errors on the disc that confuse CD-ROM drives. It is ridiculous though. I've bought songs online and wind up burning them to CD, then ripping to MP3 to get around the windows media file protection. PITA, but it works. Anyhow, no matter the protection scheme - if you can hear it, it can be copied.

Re: Lightbox and Coppermine plugins

Lightbox and Coppermine plugins at sirjohn.co.uk

Re: Lightbox and Coppermine plugins

Hello, have you considered using http://vikjavev.no/highslide/? If I knew php, I would do what you did with the coppermine script and lightbox and combined the two. I'm going to look at your code though to see what you did and see if maybe this problem of mine will be my intro to php. :D I personally think the functionality of the highslide script is far superior to the lightbox script.

Re: Lightbox and Coppermine plugins

Strange.
